Information We Handle
| Information | Why we use it |
|---|---|
| Name, email, message type and message (contact form) | To read and reply to your message |
| Hashed network address (contact form) | Spam rate-limiting, kept for up to ten minutes |
| Technical request data (IP address, browser, pages visited) | To deliver, secure and maintain the website |
| Cookies | Site administration and, if enabled, analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking |
Contact Form
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, message type and message. These details are sent by email to the site administrator so we can reply; the form does not save messages in a website database. A hidden spam field, a security token and a short rate limit using a hashed network address help prevent abuse.
Cookies, Analytics & Affiliates
WordPress uses cookies for signed-in administration. If we add analytics, advertising or affiliate links, those services may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits, show ads or attribute purchases. Where required by law, we’ll ask for your consent for non-essential cookies.
Sharing & Retention
We don’t sell your personal information. Information may be processed by our hosting and email providers to run the website. We keep messages only as long as needed to respond and meet legal obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to make a request.
Children’s Privacy
MyToyGun is written for parents, gift-givers and collectors. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us, let us know and we’ll delete the information.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the website and information sent to us, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes To This Policy
We’ll update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last reviewed.
